AIMS OF DYSCOVER

We aim to provide support and opportunity to people with dysphasia in a friendly and understanding environment.

We aim to offer a programme of activities which helps people maximise their communication skills. We also encourage people to take up new opportunities.

  • We aim to involve members in all aspects of the running of the group.
  • We aim to run our activities in a professional way by involving speech and language therapists in the management of the group.
  • We believe that with the right help people with dysphasia will go on improving, particularly in confidence and self-esteem.
  • We believe that, by meeting together, people with dysphasia will learn to live with their disability.
